Vegetable centerpieces were a huge hit for this farm to table dinner we did for NACE Denver, a national catering and events association. Catering by Design created amazing farm-to-table dishes, and the NACE members in attendance raved about the food, the yummy blackberry gin fizz drink of the evening, and our fab centerpieces. Angel, our lead designer, was in charge of turning a vision into reality, and she more than rocked it!
Allwell Rents provided linens and farm tables for the event. They had lovely delicate lace overlays, rustic wood tables (that went splendidly with our rustic centerpiece boxes, and cute farm benches at the tables). The menus were printed on wildflower infused paper, that the guests could then take home and plant!
We added apples, kale, acorn squash, beets, radishes, and locally grown corn to the centerpieces. They were in various wooden boxes, tall silver containers, and long low containers, all varied sizes and shapes for the different tables in the room. A variety of centerpieces is a great way to create depth and movement in a space.
Tall, elegant centerpieces filled with rich color, rustic greenery, and draping hanging amaranthus. Blanc was our venue for the evening... Blanc is a new wedding venue in Denver, in the RINO district. They have lovely stucco, bricks, and an awesome patio with an arbor of trees, huge dripping grape arbors, a rustic yet modern barn space where you can hang chandeliers from the awesome metal rafters, and a really lovely grape vine covered area that has a modern table underneath. If you want a modern, yet industrial venue, Blanc is a great choice.
